Educational ECAD User Group Workshop

The 25th EEUG Workshop was held at Cosener's House in Abingdon, on the 19th and 20th of September 2001. The topic for the workshop was "Computer based teaching, learning and assessment for Design Aspects of Electronics and Microelectronics".

The programme comprised both commercial and academic presentations by groups, an update on the developments in EDEC. Abstracts of the presentations are available, along with full slideshows in some cases.

RAL's Microelectronics Support Centre gave an update on Europractise and ECAD schemes and portfolios, including recent additons, and their Roadshow demonstrated EDA tools during coffee breaks and over lunch on the Thursday. There were also exhibitions and demonstrations by EDEC and Celoxica.

The workshop hosted the standard EEUG Annual General Meeting.
Several EEUG Officers came to the end of their term of office at this meeting. New volunteers to join the committee are always welcome, as there are still some vacancies.
